Do my clients need to create an account to upload their documents?
No! Wallaby sends a secure, unique link to each envelope recipient. Your clients can use that link to access their envelope and upload their documents.
What is an envelope?
Envelopes are used to request and collect documents from a client. You define the list of documents needed in the envelope (eg. Passport, Bank Statement) and once sent, the client uploads their files directly to the relevant document headings, keeping everything organized. A single envelope can be used to collect any number of documents.
How is this better than sending documents directly through email?
Glad you asked. For starters, regular email is inherently insecure, and should not be relied upon for transmitting or storing confidential information. Secondly, while email is a fantastic communication tool, it leaves much to be desired in terms of organization, which makes reliably finding previously sent documents difficult. Wallaby was built specifically to address these problems.
How does Wallaby secure my clients' data?
Firstly, Wallaby ensures that client documents are uploaded from their device directly to our encrypted cloud storage without going through any third party web servers. Secondly, Documents are only decrypted and made accessible when a member of your organization attempts to access one, and only for a limited time.
